Keep Hope Alive!
- a series of evening talks hosted at the Carrot Common, 348 Danforth

Guest speakers are Canadians from a variety of backgrounds and careers who have taken a stand in a public and active way on the question of peace or conflict in Israel / Palestine (IP).  At some point [they] realized that the question of peace in Israel / Palestine is key to global justice, international law and to peace in the world, and had the courage to speak out publicly or to become active on the issue.
We are planning four such evenings hosted by presenters with strong background knowledge of the issue, but come from different perspectives.

The talks will be in the Seminar Room (#212) at Carrot Common
The first talk is this Friday, Feb - 2nd at 7:15 pm – by Ted Schmidt
“I will be previewing my new book: ‘2014: The Year Zionism died’.

  *   author Shabbes Goy: A catholic Boyhood
  *   pioneer in Holocaust education
  *   recipient of Queen Elizabeth jubilee medal for work
in education and Justice.
  *   We must act and speak in this time of unparalleled suffering.
The remaining 3 talks will be on the last Thursday of Feb, March & April.
