Hi everyone, 
I'm sending this to you all on Feb. 2nd, which is Groundhog Day.  In Toronto today it is very bright and sunny, but the seasonal forecast from the various groundhogs around Canada and the U.S. is good.  In spite of the sunny weather, apparently none of them saw their shadows when they emerged today, so that is supposed to mean an early spring for us all.
Here's a quote from the CTV News website:Ontario'sWiarton Willie, Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam and Quebec's Fred la Marmotteall reportedly did not see their shadows. … The consensus on spring'searly arrival extended to western Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil, whoseannual declaration exploded in popularity after the 1993 movie “GroundhogDay".

Sorry for the digression into animal behaviour.
