I watched the film yesterday as well. Thank you Fr. Paul for recommending it! I found it interesting as it showed that healing can also focus on emotional trauma and historical feelings of hurt and betrayal in families and groups - as well as the healing of physical ailments. It is also interesting that yesterday happened to be the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. That may have been mentioned during our zoom gathering and I simply missed it.

PS… I was surprised Maggie Smith and Kathy Bates could pull off half decent Irish accents - although Patrick may disagree with me! 🤣

A huge thank you for the recommendations for The Miracle Club at our liturgy yesterday.  I cannot recall who first mentioned it. 

I watched it on Netflix last evening and it was incredibly moving.

It could be used in a variety of settings for reflection/sharing.

I would invite those who have not seen it to give yourselves the gift of doing so — perhaps as a way to enter Lent and Valentine’s Day.
