[Sundaycommunity] Fwd: High Park closing to cars completely

High Park in Toronto will soon be closing completely to cars. This means
some people will not be able to enjoy the park, especially people with
disabilities, seniors, and families, small children and others. Many will
no longer be able to take their family for a quick swim, have a meal at the
Grenadier Restaurant , or visit the park or zoo with grandchildren.
Since the beginning of Covid there has been a ban on cars on weekends, a
good compromise for walkers and cyclists. But the city plan is to ban them
altogether.

Please consider singing the petition to keep the park open to cars during
the week at
www.change.org/equalaccess-highpark

and/or send an email to the mayor at
Mayor_chow at toronto.ca
