Dear Maryanne,

Thank you for including me in this very important message…I  missed acting on your first notice of Bob’s attack; I was out of Toronto and in bush country--totally apart from electronic devices and got back only late yesterday.

I offer you my condolences, and I hope the coming days will allow  for you to recall, in some tranquility, his goodness and kindness towards so many of us. He and I had very good exchanges on several occasions over the years.  May our questions about the Church be now felt as good-spirited ones—with the good of all being our fine hope. Now he will educate me further.

Maryanne, if there is anything I can do to help ease things for you, please let me know. I can be reached at 416 924-7904.

Dear Sunday Community Friends,

It is with a heavy and hope filled heart that I want to let you know that Bob Stone died yesterday evening after a massive heart attack this week.

I was with Bob and Mary on April 25th as the chaplain at Toronto General administered the sacrament of the sick.

During the few years that Bob attended our Sunday Community he felt cherished and at home. He looked forward to the Sunday get-togethers coming early and sitting in the front seat, and afterwards he enjoyed being part of the Zoom liturgies during COVID.

Thank you for your prayers and blessings for Bob, Mary, his 5 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
