We loved your reflection Helena. We recently came across something very simple really but which spoke to us and might speak to others too. We were struck by how close God comes to us in the New Testament. Eric Varden says that He is a God, not enclosed in Himself. He reaches out. … With the gift of Christ and the coming of the Holy Spirit God has drawn infinitely closer to us. He has drawn us into the mystery of Himself, of his inner life of love….Jesus’ parting words to his disciples are a commission to spread this communion of divine life as widely as possible.
