She may need surgery in her hand as well but so far it’s just in a cast with no weight-bearing. She has 3 weeks ahead at least of ‘acute rehabilitation’ even before she goes home. The kids and my daughter Amanda and I have been here too. We’ve had to stay in hotels and air bnb’s and it’s getting quite expensive as you can probably understand. Amanda and I are ok but at least 2 of the kids will be here with her till she gets home, helping her with her physical needs and everyone with our emotional needs.
