The Meaning of Noosphere in Teilhard's Cosmic Vision | John Haught
<https://youtu.be/nG0cgJ6esds>

After Einstein, scientists began to realize that the universe is not a
mere backdrop or vague setting for life and human history but "the
greatest story ever told." Teilhard de Chardin, the Jesuit geologist,
was one of the first scientists in the twentieth century to have noticed
that issues in science and religion need to focus henceforth mainly on
the nature and meaning of cosmogenesis, the fact that the universe is
still coming into being. This presentation will show how Teilhard's
understanding of the Noosphere fits into his scientific and religious
vision of the drama of awakening he called the universe.
