Although I have not lived in Toronto for the past 14 years, members of the
Sunday Community remain vivid in my mind and heart.  I was very sad,
learning of Rita's death.  And now feel very touched by the sudden loss of
Liz among you.  On many Sundays we walked up Bathurst after a service,
paused to chat a little outside Steven's shop, and then she went east and I
west. Her organizational skills in the kitchen when a community meal was
underway made one feel that all was in order.  A little dish filled with
feta cubes seasoned with olive oil and herbs brings Liz to my mind every
time I try to duplicate it.  She was indeed a fundamental personality in a
community full of genuine loving people, creating the inclusive, hospitable
safe place where we could share our faith.

Please accept my deep sympathy for your loss.
