[Sundaycommunity] How to make a donation

Thank you, Jack; much appreciated. And you do so much more, too. My letter
to you went out this morning, so you can tear up the cheque and just read
the very brief letter. But I would be just as happy to have you cash the
remaining cheques going forward.

I have long thought that some of the cultural traditions of priesthood in
our church operated as distancing factors. For instance it led me to
addressing the priest in a more formal, dare I say remote way. I was
certainly brought up to emphasise hierarchy. Seeing you not only as our
priest but at the same time as "one of us" is a blessing.
