That’s quite a saga. I can really relate! I’m so glad that the cab driver found and brought over your phone. Another passenger could have easily found it and kept it.. I have a home phone for emergencies such as when my cell phone falls under the bed and I can’t reach it or I’m even not sure where it is so I can hear the ring from my home phone.
I am terrible with technology. My cell phone was updated accidentally last week. Now there are so many things I’m confused about and can’t do anymore.. I don’t even have the wherewithal to deal with calling Apple, but I will have to do it one of these days.
I wish you well with your old phone!

As to the subject line: I sent out an email to this list announcing a new phone (and why) and my Hamilton phone number. My old phone was found in the cab by the cab driver and he brought it back to me and put it in my hands. Given the problems I have been having with the new phone I am returning to use of the old one. So, if you are phoning or texting me, please 647-517-1599.
I did try to use the new phone but I couldn't reach my daughter Rachel, even though she is only a few blocks away. Given that she is the closest person in my life at present, I want to be able to reach her!
Anyway, I don't regard this as an expensive mistake, though I admit I was hoping to use that Freedom mobile plan and be able to cancel services from Virgin. At the store they couldn't figure out the problems with calling Rachel much less fix them. At least I have the old phone back. And, do give me a call - it is always nice to have a chat on the phone and keep in touch with the community. I have known some of you for over 30 years!
