THANKS for your positive comments about Jim Callan.
He was the priest that enlivened people’s lives.

My story continues.
In the 90’s Ted Schmidt, Paul Hansen, and Joanna Manning - a spectacular
threesome -  gave a fabulous, meaningful evening class (several weeks) in
Mississauga. It was Vatican ll alive again!

When Spiritus was active in Buffalo Joan Chittister was having a conference
in Oakville.
Several of us attended and the Spiritus group stayed for the weekend.

Ted Schmidt gave a brief talk and mentioned a Mass in Toronto that he
attended and that he didn’t leave angry.
I spoke to him and got his info and contacted him and he shared info on
where and when Sunday Community gathered.
Now that you know I drove to Buffalo for Spiritus it is easy to understand
that a drive to central Toronto from Mississauga was fine with me.
Imagine my delight when Paul Hansen was saying Mass.
Immediately I realized I had come home.
The spirituality, welcome, acceptance I have received from our Community is
a blessing.
Faith, Love, and Hope surround me.

Let’s all appreciate the gifts we enjoy in our lives.
Let’s reach out and and support each other and have a healthy and
prosperous 2025.
