Many of you will remember Brian Gibson and Carole Giangrande who live in the west end of Toronto and who used to come to our Sunday liturgies fairly regularly a few years back.  Carole posted this message and picture on Facebook on January 4th about the inauspicious start to the New Year that the two of them had. Happy New Year everyone- may your 2025 have a more auspicious start than ours did. An hour after this photo was taken, Brian had a misstep and fell in our driveway. Long story short: ambulance, ER, X-ray, hip replacement next day. Plus 24 hours without sleep. Can’t thank the good folks at St. Joe’s enough, though I picked up a truly nasty stomach virus! What a way to start off the year! Brian is much better and will have to go to rehab. I’m feeling better…Tomorrow is a (hopefully) new day.
