LUCIA

>From Brazil's heart, a soul so bright, Lucia shone, a guiding light.

A smile her greeting, generosity her guide,

Kindness her beacon, where love could reside,

For the oppressed , a voice, brave and true,

For the needy unrelenting support, shining through.

In nature’s embrace, solace she'd find,

Good food, good company, peace of mind.

A linguist's heart,  interpreting with accuracy and grace,

A heart of gold for young and old,

Though gone from our sight, her memory remains,

A lasting impact, a love that sustains.
