[Sundaycommunity] Universal Prayer for Peace

Greetings friends. 

At the end of our liturgy this morning, Carol asked me to send this prayer to the members of our community. 

Yesterday, I was searching on Google the phrase “hopelessness in our broken world” and found this prayer resource. For the purpose of our prayer this morning, I changed the wording from “me” to “us”. The image below was included with the prayer.

I’ve included the website below the image at the bottom of this message, where I found this prayer. It offers an explanation of where it came from. I find this quite beautiful as well!

I wish you all a blessed week - filled with hope amid such overwhelming darkness…

Lead me from death to life, from falsehood to truth; lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust; lead me from hate to love, from war to peace. Let peace fill our heart, our world, our universe.
