Teilhard de Chardin, a Jesuit priest, wrote The Divine Milieu.

He called it "a book of simple piety." But it was far from that. Through it
flows an undercurrent of evolution and the discoveries of modern science, a
spiritual path for people who love the earth as our home, who love
exploring it and finding ways to make it a better place for humanity to
thrive.

He developed a spiritual practice format that any dedicated seeker or
scientist could understand and follow, and at the same time would help
members of the Body of Christ grow forward and upward.

The four sessions in this program will explore Teilhard's major concepts
and show how to apply them in your personal and professional life, living

Louis M. Savary, PhD, STD

Louis Savary holds one doctorate in mathematical statistics applied to the
behavioral science and a second in theology and spirituality. For twenty
years, he served as senior trainer and writer for Educational Systems for
the Future. He was a Jesuit for thirty years and has studied, taught and
written about Teilhard De Chardin for the past forty years. Among his many
books are Teilhard de Chardin on Morality, Teilhard de Chardin on Love, The
Human Phenomenon Explained, and Teilhard de Chardin The Divine Milieu
Explained: A Spirituality for the 21st Century. He is a board member of the
American Teilhard Association.

Dianne Baker, Counselling Therapist, Mediator, Song Leader, Facilitator
Prepared by The Center for Courage & Renewal. Dianne loves the ocean and
its creatures. Living on the Sunshine Coast in BC, she is a year-round
ocean swimmer, for joy and invigoration. She shares life with her partner
of 42 years, her 90-year-old mother, an aging Maltese, many visiting birds
and a prolific garden. Dianne has an active therapy practice as a
counsellor and also works with the local Hospice. Earth care, grief, joy
and community building inform her song life and her leadership.
