[Sundaycommunity] Liturgy outline for Sun Nov 2, 2025

Good afternoon…

After a conversation with Sylvia a short while ago, we would like to let everyone know how tomorrow’s zoom mass will unfold. 

We will begin at 11:00AM EST as usual. 

There will be no open sharing after the homily as Fr. Prakash will have to leave at noon or shortly after. 

Immediately following Fr. Prakash’s final blessing at the end of mass, we will thank him as he will need to depart. 

Afterwards I will introduce our time of sharing… commemorating All Souls Day (El Día de los Muertos). 

Sylvia had a nice idea that we could all have a candle lit for this part of our liturgy. 

Those interested in participating will have an opportunity to share one or two (or three) names of individuals, who, although no longer among us, continue to influence us… being present in our hearts & memories. Being conscientious of time, it is suggested that we share just a bit of information about each person we choose to remember. 

At the end of each sharing, the person speaking will repeat the names of the departed - and we all respond (unmuted) with the Spanish word:

-PRESENTE- (present)

… a way of affirming that these individuals are still important to us and present in our lives. 

After everyone has had an opportunity to share, we will have a closing prayer and then Sylvia will lead us in the closing song… Beatitudes. 

After our closing song, we will have time for thanks you’s and any announcements that need to be made.

I hope this plan is acceptable to everybody.…
