Hi everyone,

This Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of our new Liturgical Year.  Fr. Paul McAuley will be with us on Sunday.  The program of songs and responses is attached.

I don't know about you, but when we move into Advent each year I always have the feeling, "Christmas is nearly here! How did we get here so fast?"  This feeling of being surprised by the coming of Christmas seems even stronger in me each year, the older I get. But on the plus side, there is always an invitation within that feeling of surprise, an invitation to experience something new and to welcome into my life the blessings that are being extended and announced.
