in 2014 following a US backed coup in the Ukraine. Canada and the
US have been supplying arms to this war that has killed 14,000
Ukrainians before the Russian invasion, mostly ethnic Russians.
The west has refused to negotiate with Russia with regard to the
continued expansion of NATO and has refused to accept Russia as a
member. Previously I sent out an article by a highly respected
investigative journalist, Jonathon Cook, who resides in Palestine
and whom many of us have met in our travels to Palestine with
Father Holmes. He is a better source for information on the
Ukraine than the corporatist controlled Canadian media. T<a

<p> I was just reading about how false narratives are created by
building large falsehoods out of fragments of truths. Your
narrative here is based on fragments of truth that are woven into
a story that supports your preordained conclusions. Most
Canadians have no idea of the complexity of this conflict. <br>

defence. That’s the difference between Russia and the UN or
neutral countries. Russia thinks he needs to take over the
country next to him. The UN is not trying to take over any
countries. The countries in the UN want peace but will come to
the aid of a country that’s being attacked. The countries in the
UN respect the separateness of each country. Russia doesn’t and
will continue to eat up the smaller countries on its borders to
make Russia greater. Ukraine did not start the war, it is
fighting back against Russia’s aggression. There’s a huge
difference. </div>

that he could be listened to by Russia. Other than that one
sentence everything else he has said is asking for the war to
stop and condemning aggression from any country. He is trying
his best to enhance peace and gets jumped on by people who are

but sympathetic, , critique of Pope Francis’
public statements & symbolic gestures about
the war in Ukraine. The main point of the
article is that Francis’ statements have been
open to manipulation by Russia & the Russian
Orthodox church, thereby creating confusion in
Ukraine & elsewhere about Francis’ intent to
condemn the Russian war of aggression, while
advocating for an end to the war through
negotiation & humanitarian actions by Russia
to end civilian deaths, allow civilians to
safely exit, cease fires etc. </div>
