For those who used to gather for Mass either at the Paulist Centre, or in later years, at Msgr Fraser Annex School, you'll remember all the difficulties with getting around on those streets on parade day: streets closed off, parking restricted, hundreds of people crowding the streets. And of course, at the end of the parade, the big guy with the red outfit and bushy, white beard.
