I can only think of her and how much I respect her energy and dedication to taking care of her health in these times, especially as I personally don't feel very motivated at times with respect to my own healing process. (I am still in the hospital in Hamilton, waiting for a partial foot amputation to heal so that I can go home) She was going to visit me Wed. afternoon and I was so looking forward to our vis</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4">I know how much the prayers and healing of the community helped me, especially when I was in St. Mike's in 2019. Lee was using a healing technique or practise that she had studied and there were others in the community involved. I can't remember exactly who it was - but whoever you are, it helped so I would ask you to do this again for Lee. Of course I will offer my prayers.</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4">I'm glad you were able to come to Toronto so quickly, Clare. And the same for Sarah. My mother, Lee Piepgrass, was struck by a car while walking home from her local coffee shop on Monday, Feb 6. She sustained significant and traumatic injuries and was rushed to the hospital where she is in the ICU. Lee will live, but these are life changing injuries and we would ask you to please respect her privacy in these early stages of treatment and healing. There will be a time in the not too distant future when visitors will form a critical part of her healing, but until then - please send your thoughts and prayers, which are very gratefully received.<br><br>I will do my best to update you all again when we reach a new threshold of progress.<br><br>Love,<br>Clare<br></div></div>
