<html><head></head><body><div class="ydpdc826b58yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:16px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Greetings Everyone,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">This Sunday, April 9, 2023, is Easter Sunday, and the program of songs and responses for the liturgy is attached.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">There are some extra bits to which I want to call your attention:</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> 1. The <b>Gloria</b> will be sung. Sylvia will lead it, and the lyrics are all included in the program.<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> 2. The <b>Easter Sequence </b>will be sung, right after the Second Reading. I will sing it, and the <b>Refrain</b>, which everyone should sing, is in the program.<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> 3. At the beginning of the service, the <b>"Lighting of the Easter Candle"</b> is mentioned. Because of restrictions in the place where Fr. Ron lives (Presentation Manor), he is not allowed to light an actual candle, but will have a little electronic one. Everyone is invited, if you wish to do so, to have a lighted candle beside you, perhaps even showing on your screen.<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> 4. Right after the <b>Entrance Hymn,</b> there is <b><font color="#4c76a2">"The Blessing of the Water."</font></b> It is suggested that everyone have a glass of water, or some other small container holding water, nearby during this short ceremonial.
