It glorifies war and promotes weapons sales, while re-traumatizing the victims of war who live in Toronto with its inescapable noise. It also spends huge
amounts of our already indebted carbon budget. <br></p><p style="Margin:1em 0px">The Toronto Blue Scarf Peace initiative, whose name and recognizable scarf are inspired by the <a href="https://secure.kairoscanada.org/index.php?q=civicrm/mailing/url&u=14746&qid=3220801" rel="nofollow" style="color:#3f3f3f;color:#548dd4;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">Afghan Peace Volunteers</a>, have two ways for you to get involved on <strong>Monday, September 2</strong>. <br> <br><strong>1. Join the Labour Day Parade:</strong> meet between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. on Centre Ave., a block east of University Ave. and south of Dundas St. Look for the <strong>Stop the Airshow</strong> or <strong>World Beyond War</strong> signs. There will
be several people there with their blue scarves. You will be invited to hand out flyers and engage in conversation as you march to the CNE Dufferin Gate. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. sharp. <br> <br><strong>2. Join another group of Blue Scarf supporters near the Dufferin Gate</strong> at the corner of Springhurst Ave and Dufferin St. at 10:00 a.m. We have some large banners that read: <strong>Building a Border Free / World without War / Under One Blue Sky</strong>. as in the photo. If this is a message you can get behind, come out and help us hold these banners, hand out some flyers, or engage marchers and other CNE visitors in a conversation. </p><p style="Margin:1em 0px">Blue scarves will be available to borrow at
