At Beach United we have been engaging in a practice of viewing a documentary film / gathering via Zoom to share what we learned / and having a discussion of what, if any, changes we might make in our life as a result of watching the documentary.

Here’s the invitation to our next “event”.

Beach United Documentary Discussion Series 8pm Wednesday April 28th 

Watch the provocative documentary “Seaspiracy" on Netflix before April 28th. Thanks to Pat and Dave for the recommendation. 
Seaspiracy examines the global fishing industry, challenging notions of sustainable fishing and showing how human actions cause widespread environmental destruction. 
Please watch this with a critical eye.  It’s a documentary driven by the filmmaker and his personal journey.  There is a lot of online reaction to the doc from many different perspectives.  Some of the facts have been questioned.  So watch it and do your own research and then we’ll meet to discuss.
