Hi Allan

Science that can't be questioned is dogma and not science.  Over the 
years I have switched back and forth between believing and not believing 
Al Gores climate change thesis.  What can we ever know for certain?

Promoters of climate change dogma in my experience never address the 
concerns of so called climate change deniers which include one of the 
activist founders of Greenpeace.

Some of the points that I have never heard addressed are:

 1. Past data shows that there is a correlation between carbon and
    temperature but correlation is not causation.
 2.   climate change predictions are based on models which have to be
    proven by real world data and there is lots of real world data that
    do not support the models.   eg.  the highest temperature in London
    was 30 or 40 years ago. (working from memory)
 3. anecdotal extreme weather accounts, often cherry picked are not
    scientific evidence and do not prove model predictions.

I wish the promoters of climate change would be more concerned with 
addressing these issues rather than with seeking doctrinal purity of Al 
Gores global warming thesis.

At any rate Peterson does not fly around the world in his private jets 
as do the Davos crowd who hypocritically say they will save us from 
climate disaster if we obey without question.    Its not what we say 
that causes environmental destruction it is what we do.  I think that 
our biggest concern at present should be the social Darwinist 
inclinations of the billionaire class.

Calling Peterson a Nihilist is especially rich.
