It is with deep regret that after thirty six years of shopping at Thrifty Foods as my mainstay grocery store, that I have decided not to shop there again until you discontinue the Israeli products you carry. I have always felt my heart drop in your store seeing halvah from Israel and not from Greece or elsewhere while the occupation of Palestine by Israel was horrific for the people there. Now that the International Criminal Court has named Israel as responsible for genocide in Gaza, I can no longer support a store that carelessly or deliberately supports the wiping of a population off the map through massacres and bombings. I can't shop here anymore. This requires me to bus further to get my groceries but it is one small thing I can do. Please pass this message to your head office and let me know if your policy changes,
