Hi Sunday Community,
I'm passing along to you the following message from Dwyer Sullivan concerning Hobo -- Bob Holmes -- received last night.  It sounds like there is some progress, but full recovery may take a while.
Prayers are in order.
Best wishes to all.Brian
MESSAGE FROM DWYER:Hello all you many friends of Hobo - and it has been pointed out to me that Hobo has many many more, so feel welcome to forward my notes to whomever you think may be interested,
I'm just off the phone with Fr. Norm who was able to visit today. He said Hobo is looking better, more colour in his face, alert, but confused - and did question who would be saying the Mass today for the Sunday community. The nurses said he is progressing, but slowly and it will be a long time before he recovers fully (which they hope for). He is able to be fed food, instead of intravenous, however he has had to be restrained from attempting to pull out other intravenous tubes. The nurses told Norm not to expect much daily change. Norm has a busy Sunday with Masses and Confessions and will not be able to visit again until his appointment at 2 on Monday. So I may not send out a report tomorrow, unless I hear anything new from Hobo;s niece, Janna, via Tim O"Connor.                                                 _________________________________________________________________
I will include what Tim sent to me and a few others from Camp Micah today:Hey Good People

I received an update from Janna this morning.

Hobo continues to make slow and steady progress.  He is eating now and
physiotherapy is ongoing.  Some disorientation remains.

Not yet receiving visitors, but that might change.  It does look like he may not
return to his own home immediately as stairs will be problematic.  There is a
Basilan residence and some options through his family.

Dwyer is in contact with Fr Norm and will likely have more information.

Of course, my updates are third hand, but it sounds like the news is fairly good
overall.

Take care,--

So that is much as we know and I will continue to try and update all of you whenever I hear anything new. It may now not be until Monday evening.
