[Sundaycommunity] Residential school unmarked graves

I have been wondering whether the department of Indian Affairs had a policy of burying children in unmarked graves.  What about religious communities who ran them?

As we learn of further instances, I would like to know which residential schools, if any, marked these graves.

I have just read an article about negligence in the upkeep of these cemeteries and that children’s bodies were not sent home due to costs.

Obviously, this entire story is appalling and heartbreaking.
