Catherine, you misunderstood her.

I thought she had sent it to me on the side just to me, and it was her who
told me it had somehow gone out to the entire community the way she had
done it.  She called me immediately when she found out to apologize, her
not meaning it for general consumption.

She found out it went to everyone because Lucia must have said something
indicating it had gotten to her.

Off the top I don't care a whole lot whether everyone gets everything I
say.  I don't say or not say things based on who I think my audience is.
Actually that's not entirely true.  If something is somewhat critical of
someone, I might bother to soften the language if I know they are going to
see it.
