Pope Francis has been accused of talking “misogynistic drivel” by Professor Mary McAleese (pictured) over his comments to the Jesuit publication, America, ruling out the ordination of women to the priesthood. The former Irish head of state wrote to the Pope, attacking his “ludicrous lack of logic or clarity”.
