[Sundaycommunity] FW: Pope Francis accused of talking “misogynistic drivel” by Professor Mary McAleese - the TABLET

David, I heard the speech from Mary McAleese, and I was IMPRESSED by her, a)    Faith in OUR Catholic Churchb)    Logic in speaking about the role of women in OUR Catholic Churchc)    Love in OUR Catholic Church.
She is a STRONG VOICE for women in OUR Catholic Church.  She WILL be listened to by the Bishops of OUR Catholic Church, or I, Mary Lou Jorgensen-Bacher will CONSIDER discontinuing my attendance at the CIC Mass on Sundays.  I do know that we have priests, who would greatly cherish to have women as priests.  I KNOW THIS.
I know that you have been at it "SOMETIMES", not always - you have had different ways and means to allow you not to come to the service.  This has been my whole life, in the spiritual sense, (which is to me, the most VIABLE way of being a CHRISTIAN - what I would appreciate being inside of who I AM).  
David, you are a strong man, one that I look up to in my dealings with the CATHOLIC Church - I will not become an ATHEIST, in that I will no longer believe in GOD - it is so ingrained in me (having had a brain haemorrhage on a Gr. 13 Retreat, ETC. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) that that would be impossible!!!!!!!  I have gone with you to the various churches that you have come to.  I will not become an atheist, or a "non-believer" - but Mary McAleese speaks well, and truly.  How do you come to the services that you do come to?  PLEASE ANSWER this question.  I know that Fr. Jack Costello, and Fr. Prakesh Lohale, Fr. Paul McAuley, (Fr. Bob Holmes) etc. would like for women to have a larger role in OUR Catholic Church.
