Thank you Art, for sending this out Ray MacGovern, former CIA analyst was
interviewed by Robert Scheer and he agrees with you that we have never been
closer to nuclear war and World War III. The West as Henry Kissinger,
Professor John Measheimer, former US Ambassador to Moscow Jack Matlock have
all warned of the grave danger we are in because of NATO's expansion
eastward from 12 western nations in the 1990s to now 30 nations former east
bloc countries. Regrettably, the west chose hostility and aggression toward
Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union instead of cooperation and
friendship which was the vision of Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Reagan. This
aggression caused Yeltsin to appoint Putin as his successor and anyone who
has read the history knows the complexity and truth of this situation.

None of the current batch of western leaders seems to recall the Cuban
Missile Crisis! The fact that Kennedy and Kruschev who both fought in WWII
knew the reality of war recognized the importance of talking, diplomacy,
and honest negotiation thus averting the crisis. Though both had to be
nudged into talking to one another by Pope John XXII. Something none of the
western leaders have done with Putin. Merkel and Hollande of France
admitted lying to Putin and using Minsk I and II as cover for building up
their forces in Ukraine. They were preparing for this war for the last 10
years and refused to bargain in good faith to avert this disaster. Thank
you for breaking the bubble of western propaganda!

The destruction of Nord Stream I and II by the US as cited by Seymour Hersh
was an act of war against Germany, a NATO member. This was not just a war
crime but an environmental crime as it was the largest man-made release of
methane in history, the worst greenhouse gas. No accident the mainstream
media which acts as a megaphone for the war machine will not give this more
coverage. Good to see in Germany today 10,000 people rallied against more
weapons for Ukraine and NATO's escalation. Hopefully, both sides will opt
for diplomacy before it is too late.
