[Sundaycommunity] Fwd: Something to think about

I was just reading the WOW newsletter and, while I had read a number of the
articles before, the one entitled ‘What the Spousal Metaphor Reveals and
Conceals’ taught me something new to think about. Priests must be men, the
metaphor goes, because they act ‘in persona Christi’, bridegroom to the
Church as spouse. However if the metaphor is taken that literally for
priests then taking it literally for the Church means only women can be
