[Marjie Calla]

Dear Brian, Tony, Valerie, Gabriel and Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Rita’s passing. We remember meeting Rita
and Brian so many years ago at the Sunday Community.
I (Marjie) tutored Valerie for a short time when she was in grade five
French immersion and was learning to read in English. Valerie did not need
me, she progressed quickly and of course became the scholar she is today.
Both Brian and Rita were very friendly. One always felt they were happy to
see you!
Rita was a beautiful, gentle person who we always enjoyed talking to. Her
kindness and calm nature put everyone at ease and her ability to be present
was a gift. I can see her beautiful face listening carefully to whoever she
was speaking to.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as we send you our deepest condolences
