To awaken to this news this morning was heartbreaking.

Lucia, you have been courageous, full of hope, embracing life throughout this journey yet abandoned to God.

It has been so confusing and difficult to celebrate what was thought to be your healing, only to  learn the devastating news that this was not the case.

It provided such hope that   to learn just a few days ago, in the midst of your
you would get worse before you would get better’

Late this afternoon Lucia was informed that her new treatment is failing to combat her growing cancer and that she will now go into palliative care.

Her care team is trying to meet Lucia's wishes that her palliative care be at Kensington Gardens.
